Nigerian AfroGospel Artiste, Limoblaze, Gets Nominated At 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards

Nigerian Afro gospel, Afrobeat, and Hip-hop gospel singer, Samuel Onwubiko, known by his stage name Limoblaze, has been nominated at the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year and one more category.

­The gospel artist is well known for the hit song “Jireh” which made it to the Billboard U.S Afrobeats Songs of 2022, Official Charts No. 15, and won several other nominations, including The Headies and The Stellar Awards. 

Limoblaze is nominated in 2 major categories – Rap/Hip Hop Song of the year for “Jireh” (My Provider) featuring Lecrae&Happi Music and Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year for “Sunday in Lagos.”

Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry.

The GMA Dove Awards will happen live in Nashville, TN, October 17th, 2023.

Other artists with several nominations for this year’s Awards include Maverick City Music, Kirk Franklin, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Katy Nichole.
