Afro-gospel singer Limoblaze has collaborated with Nigerian gospel music minister Victor Thompson and United Kingdom gospel singer, Becca Folkes for his new song, titled “My Matter”. The song fuses afrobeats with brightly layered vocals and scripture verses speaking about God’s faithfulness in every situation.
Speaking about “My Matter”, Limoblaze said “This song is about prioritizing praise and thanksgiving to God regardless of the situation”
This is the second collaboration with Becca Folkes and the first time with Victor Thompson, whose co-writing credit on the 2023 release “This Year (Blessings)” landed on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Chart at number 35.
Limoblaze has released 6 albums, including Blind (2016), Before Now (2018), Afrobeats Rap and Jesus (2019), Bridges (2020), and God’s Favourite Baby (2021), Sunday In Lagos (2022), Limoblaze continues to elevate the afrobeat sound he is so famous for with frequent new releases.
Recently, he bagged two nominations for the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards. The Nigerian-born singer and Reach Records artist was nominated in two major Hip-Hop categories, including RAP/HIP-HOP SONG OF THE YEAR for his widely received hit “Jireh (My Provider)” and RAP/HIP-HOP ALBUM OF THE YEAR for his latest body of work “Sunday in Lagos”.
