Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the founder and Senior Pastor of the Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC), was born on March 23, 1980, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. As a change leader and coach, Pastor B, as called by his congregants, heads one of Lagos, Nigeria’s, fastest-growing churches, drawing thousands of young people to its meetings.
The Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC), established on the 13th of December, 2003, with just a handful of people, has grown large. Pastor Bolaji established the church during his Undergraduate days at the University of Lagos. With locations across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America, Harvesters attracts over 70,000 worshippers both online and onsite.
Pastor Bolaji has a liberal outlook on Christianity, which has been beneficial for the younger generation because it encourages them to worship God in their own unique ways while also equipping them with the skills they need to adapt in the twenty-first century.
HICC has been described by many as the youth’s Number One Worship center in Lagos and Nigeria. This is because the vibrant and young pastor maintains a very warm relationship with his followers and treats them like family, forging a unique tie between them. He discusses real life issues affecting youth and inspires them to live their dreams and reach their full potential.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu is also well-liked by many celebrities in show business; many of them refer to him as their spiritual father, including the popular musician Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known by his stage name Spyro, who cannot discuss his achievements without highlighting the influence of Pastor Bolaji.
Other well-known personalities he has favorably touched are fashion designer Victoria James, also known as Veekee James, Hilda Baci, who is presently the owner of the Marathon Cooking Guinness World Record, well-known rapper Chinko Ekunam; and many others.
He is an engaging speaker and a fervent believer in the power of God’s Word and its capacity to help people achieve their full potential in life.
Pastor Bolaji, an accounting graduate of the University of Lagos, is an expert teacher in the fields of business process regeneration, kingdom finance, invention, and the implementation of ideas. He frequently speaks and facilitates a number of initiatives, such as The Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA). He also serves as the chancellor of Harvesters Business School (HBS) and Harvesters Spiritual Development College (HSDC). God’s grace in the life of Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Senior Pastor of the Daystar Christian Center, has a direct impact on his ministry.

Pastor Bolaji Idowu ‘s Harvesters African Empowerment Foundation (HAEF)
A nonprofit organization founded to give economically disadvantaged people in Africa the chance to become more independent. Through education, entrepreneurship support, feeding programs, and assistance for internally displaced persons, the Foundation aims to enhance the quality of life and generate wealth for the continent of Africa’s economically challenged people.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu’s End Hunger Initiative:
This initiative is dedicated to eradicating the problem of hunger in Nigeria. The Project follows a “front line” concept in which food is immediately distributed to those in need, such as internally displaced people and families who are unable to care for themselves. The goal is to feed as many people as possible without letting any family go hungry.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu ‘sPrison Ministry
Providing food, educational materials, legal aid/intervention, and most importantly, spiritual exposure, are just a few ways that the Prisons Ministry, an Outreach Ministry, aims to change and/or improve the quality of life for prisoners across Nigeria. Its goal is to ensure transformation by giving prisoners new hope through the Bible, prayer, and specific ministry. We provide them with access to legal assistance or intervention and open a door to literacy so they can continue living.
