Dr. D.K. Olukoya Challenges Pastors on their Forecasts for the General Election Results 2023

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. D.K. Olukoya, has addressed religious leaders on failed prophecies made regarding the general election of 2023.

The minister criticized people who often forecast the results of elections in the nation, saying that the pulpit is not intended for political campaigns, but for instructing God’s children in the truth.

Speaking during his sermon on Sunday at the church’s headquarters, Dr. Oukoya regretted how many Christian clergy who anticipated the results of the 2023 elections failed.

He said, “You see what happened in Nigeria during these last elections disgraced the religion of Christianity very well. This prophet said this person would win, and this would not win.

“‘If this one wins, I will become a herbalist, if this one wins, let them cut off my hand, if this one wins this, this one will die before his wish.

“All did not come to pass, and they call themselves prophets. Prophets of where? It is madness when you begin to say what God does not ask you to say. The pulpit in the house of God is the pillar and ground of truth. It is not for political campaigns.”

Many Nigerian clerics came out to forecast the results of the elections in 2023, which confused the general public. President Bola Tinubu was declared the victor of the February 25 presidential election.
