Apostle Segun Obadje was born on January 31st. He is the Senior Pastor of God’s Love Tabernacle International Church, which has its headquarters in Lekki, Lagos State, and branches in Nigeria and the United States that are also growing quickly.
He is also the President of Segun Obadje Teaching Ministries (SOTM), a teaching outreach ministry that works all over Nigeria and beyond. He has been called and anointed by God to preach and teach about the New Creation realities in Christ Jesus.
He does this by using the power of the Holy Spirit to emphasize the truth of God’s word. He teaches God’s Word in a way that is both apostolic and prophetic.
Pastor Segun has been in ministry for more than 20 years. His ministry shows how the Word and the Spirit work together, with signs, wonders, and many different miracles.
He is the author of the daily devotional “The Leverage” and also the host of the daily video broadcast “Sphere of Grace”.
Apostle Segun Obadje’s Educational Background
Pastor SegunObadje is a graduate of the Department of Building from the prestigious ObafemiAwolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria where he finished his first degree topping his class with first class honours. He holds a Masters Degree and a Ph.D in Building Structures from the same University as his first degree.
He is a Chartered Builder of the Chartered Institute of Builders with several years extensive experience handling major construction projects.
For over a decade he worked as a lecturer at ObafemiAwolowo University, Ile-Ife, in the Department of Building, Faculty of Environmental Design and Management. He is also the Setman and Senior Pastor of God’s Love Tabernacle International Church.
He is a widely traveled conference speaker and writer who has spoken at several conferences within and outside Nigeria and has also written several life impacting books.
He is a father, mentor and life coach who is passionate about people and family development and establishment in every areas of life, building and equipping them with what it takes to live a fulfilled life.
Brief History Of Apostle Segun Obadje’s Calling
In October 2005, the Lord instructed PastorsSegun and FunkeObadje, who were living in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital, that they should leave Abuja and start working for Him in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. In obedience, the couple left Abuja on November 11, 2005, and went to Ile-Ife.
God told them to preach and teach about the New Creation Realities in Christ Jesus in a clear and simple way, with a strong focus on the truth of God’s Word.
14 months after they left Abuja, on February 4, 2007, about ten people met in a small room in Ile-Ife to start God’s Love Tabernacle International Church.
In one of his interviews about the mission of GLT, Pastor Segun said, “I like to stress this, GLT is not another denomination, but a movement; and an ongoing move of God’s Spirit to awaken the truth of His word and the reality of His blessed Holy Spirit.”
I have to tell you that since we left Abuja, God has been good. The Apostolic, Prophetic, Teaching, and Healing Grace have been so clear in this movement.
The church now has its own land and a hall that can hold an average of 1,700 people. It also has a number of branches and outreach programs inside and outside of Nigeria.
God’s Word is true. The path of the righteous is like a bright light that keeps getting brighter until the perfect day.
Apostle Segun Obadje’s Family
Apostle Segun Obadje is happily married to his heartthrob, Pastor Olufunke Obadje, a dynamic minister of God’s word; a prophetic gift to this generation and beyond, whose ministry is characterized by powerful expressions of revelation gifts and miraculous signs.
She is a new testament Prophet with an impactful, life-changing message, especially to young men and women.
Pastor Funke Obadje is a passionate humanitarian and medical doctor by training from Obafemi Awolowo University. She has over 8 years of working experience as a Medical Doctor with Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-ife ,Lautech Teaching Hospital Osogbo and Osun State Health Board (Edunabon Community Health Center).
She is an exemplary leader, mentor, administrator and speaker who has spoken at different health and none Health Conferences and programs within and outside the country.
Her love for children has made her plan and organize several programs for children with supports from UNILEVER Plc, FAN Milk, FUNKOG Kiddies World, Indomie etc. Her immense desire to see children, especially the underprivileged children live a fulfilled life is the major push to starting up the foundation.
She has worked with several NGOs including St. Andrews Hospital, towards rendering of help health wise to the indigent’s in the society and also organizing programs to put smile on the faces of children.
They got married on August 20th and are blessed with wonderful destinies.
