The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, DCLM, Pastor Kumuyi, has declared that Jesus can give one more joy than when one drinks alcohol.
Speaking on Thursday, during a sermon titled “Miracles of Mercy by the Saviour” at the ongoing Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), at Oshogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, Pastor Kumuyi said, “Some people make themselves happy with alcohol, but Jesus Can Make You More Happy Than When You Drink Alcohol. When some people are in despair, they smoke cigarettes, use marijuana, and take hard drugs.
But Tonight, as you come to Him, He will give you more joy and happiness than alcohol can give you.” The cleric also disclosed that miracles do not come from anyone giving money, adding that nothing one pays is enough to buy them as they are free and come from the Saviour.
Pastor Kumuyi urged Christians to pray for insight and perception, noting that “blind Bartimeaus sat beside the road, begging. Many people today who have eyes don’t have insight or perception. They can see the present, but not the future. When Bartimeaus heard about Jesus, he said, Jesus, the son of David, have mercy on me! He prayed well and right.”
